About Clare Goodwin and StudioK4

Clare Goodwin (b. 1973, Birmingham, UK) is a Zurich-based artist known for her geometric abstraction across painting, ceramics, and assemblage. A graduate of the Royal College of Art, London, Goodwin explores themes of social histories and identity, creating minimalist compositions inspired by domestic interiors and personal narratives. Her works have been exhibited widely across Europe, including at Kunsthaus Aarau, Museum Haus Konstruktiv, and are held in numerous public and private collections.

In addition to her visual art practice, Goodwin runs studiok4, a design label specializing in functional ceramics and design objects. Her exclusive collection of hand-painted vases, plates, and bowls reflects her abstract geometric style and is available as one-of-a-kind pieces or small series made to order. While Goodwin remains recognized as a visual artist, studiok4 showcases her interest into blending the precision and creativity of her artistic language with exclusive design objects.

The small series and individual objects can also be designed by the artist upon request. If you are interested in specific creteria, feel free to get in touch with studio@claregoodwin.ch.

All objects are individually hand-glazed by the artist and fired in her own studio, making them valuable one-of-a-kind pieces.
